UNOS forms Department of Member Quality

UNOS has established a Department of Member Quality, combining the previously separate departments of Evaluation & Quality and Membership.  This action will enhance efficiency of operations, as both functions provide key support to the membership of UNOS and to the review functions of the OPTN/UNOS Membership and Professional Standards Committee.
The department will be headed by a director (currently vacant; UNOS is recruiting for this position–see job listing.)  Its two assistant directors will head key components of the department’s functions.   Jacqueline O’Keefe, M.B.A., will oversee operational activities (compliance and safety investigation, member applications, quality monitoring and MPSC operations) and Matt Belton will supervise monitoring activities (site survey, allocation analysis and performance analysis).
