Can I donate kidney after biadiatric surgery

I am new member resident of Mumbai INDIA I have to undergo biadiatric surgery for weight loss after which I can donate kidney to my brother I had read a post by

Who had undergone biadiatric surgery & then donated kidney to a cousin
Wanted to have a conversation for this

jadedkidneydonor was a guest so we don't have his/her contact information unfortunately.

Even so, it looks like bariatric (gastric bypass) survey is not a barrier to donating in the US, subject to the donor meeting all other requirements. My suggestion is that you check with your brother's doctor and the transplant team in India to see what they have to say.
