Marijuana Use for the Reciepient
« on: October 09, 2017, 02:07:38 PM »
I have a question about living donations. I have a friend that has to have a Kidney transplant. His son has offered to donate his. Both the donor and the recipient smoke marijuana. Will this stop them from donating and receiving the Kidney?

I don't know the answer, but I suspect that different hospitals may have different rules about this. You might want to post your question also at the FaceBook page of Living Donors on Line, and many more donors check in there these days.
