Greetings!

I used to sepnd a lot of time in this forum as I became a non-directed living kidney donor in 2007, but it's been awhile.

I am in excellent health and would like to become a non-directed living liver donor.

I'm 61, though and the cut-off at many transplant centers appears to 55.

I'm in South East Ohio.

If anyone knows of a transplant center that might accept me a s a 61 year-0old donor, I'd really appreciate hearing about it.

Many thanks,

Cynthia

I myself don't have any helpful information for you on this question, but you might like to post it on FaceBook at both the Living Donors on Line page and on the Living Kidney Donors Support Group page. There are several folks who post there who have donated a liver lobe after having donated a kidney, so perhaps some of them might have good information for you. These days many more donors check in there rather than here.
