Considering living donation? Talk to someone who has donated before! The National Kidney Foundation offers a support program called NKF Peers (www.kidney.org/patients/peers) which allows living donors or people considering living donation to talk 1-1 through a toll-free phone system to someone who has donated. Call us today to get started at 1-855-NKF-PEERS (855-653-7337) or email nkfpeers@kidney.org.

Note we offer Donor Buddies here, and have done so for 15 years. My Donor Buddy was a huge help while I was on the path to donation. What a privilege it was to meet her and thank her in person years after I donated.
