So it has been 3 days since surgery. We both are doing great! I still have a lot of pain and get tired really quickly. I am off the pain pump, the pills were working better with me. I have some nausea here and there and still am awake for large chunks of the night. Thanks for all your support.

Hi, Lisa.
Welcome to the club! It's great to hear that you and your father are both doing well. Congratulations!
Rest, walk, and heal. Be careful about lifting and sneezing. Also, think (at least) twice before attempting to sleep on the surgical side.
Be well, Snoopy

Congratulations Lisa (and dad). Glad you're out the other side and doing well. Each day the pain will become more manageable. Seems like once you're able to start walking each day, things get moving along a bit better. Tune in here if you have any questions and please keep us updated. God Bless your healing.
