Just had a fasting blood draw in advance of my annual physical, and while my BUN is up a wee bit, my creatinine is down to 1.0! It's been 1.1 every time since before I donated! I'm not concerned about the BUN increase as I just turned 60 last month and the new number is still within "normal" range for those 60 and older. Woo hoo!

wonderful news!
the higher BUN and normal creatinine suggests that you may be a little dehydrated. Always nice to hear from the veterans.
My last creatinine 11 years post donation (Dec 2018) was my lowest at .75. i think it was a bit lower than my pre donation of .80. my only lab that is off is vitamin D and PTH (parathyroid). I am working at correcting the vit D to very high end to 90 so that the PTH will go down. so my lone kidney filters well but does not compensate good enough to convert vit D. Seeing a very smart and caring endocrinologist.
Take care everyone.
