Are you still taking prescription pain medication,by any chance? Those can cause nausea...
Do you have any other symptoms?

I did not have the nausea problem, but did have very little appetite for a while. When you don't want to eat much it can be helpful to eat at least a little bit of whatever you feel a craving for. If you find that you are still not eating enough, you might try buying some cans of "Ensure" or other nutritional drink to take sips of during the day, to make sure you are getting enough basic nourishment.
Please let us know how things go.
  best wishes,
      Fr. Pat

I have been off the pain Meds since week 2. Per other symptoms just some headaches.  The nausea just seems to linger. I am eating as much as possible but.... We all know how that goes. Thanks for the  updates.

Reuven,

If you feel the nausea isn't getting better you can call your nurse coordinator and ask about some anti nausea medicines. In the hospital they use Zofran, often given through a patient's IV (since they are usually vomiting too but you can probably take it by mouth also. Not unusual to have little appetite. I loved the weight loss but eventually my appetite did return. Your bowels take time to recover from the surgery.

Good luck recuperating and welcome to the donor club.
