The new kidney allocation system – basic preparations

In November 2013, the OPTN/UNOS Board of Directors approved policy to substantially revise the kidney allocation system. This webinar will discuss fundamental changes in the system and provide basic information to prepare transplant professionals for implementation of the new policy requirements.
This program will:
Explain the new kidney allocation policy and its goals;
Summarize the changes in allocation components for deceased donor kidneys;
Discuss the impact of these policy changes for kidney transplant programs, OPOs, and laboratories; and
Highlight tools and resources to be made available that will assist programs in preparing for the new system.
On March 25th a Town Hall meeting will be held to answer questions that you may have about the upcoming changes to the kidney allocation system. In preparation, please register and view the Basic Preparations webinar. https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/recording/2357091603166857217
