I have been going through testing to donate a kidney to a friend. Got the news today we match I go October,3 for a CT scan and met with the surgeon. DNA show 3 matches. Scheduled to donate Oct,11. CR-Steve

CR-Steve,

All the best!  And, drink plenty of water -- 16 ounces -- 1/2 hour before your CT scan, to protect the kidney you hope to donate from damage by the dye used in the CT angiogram.

I know about all the test and stuff already been through it all and everthing is good surgery wii be 10-11.I'm ready!
