Man donates a kidney to Facebook friend's husband

(WXYZ) - Richard Cisco, a standup comic is always looking to perform unfortunately he'll have to miss a big gig tonight.
Richard is preparing to go under the knife; he's preparing to donate a kidney to the husband of a Facebook friend.
Richard, a blood type O, decided shortly after seeing the posting back in November to step forward.
After weeks of tests, Wednesday both donor and recipient will undergo the transfer at Beaumont Hospital.
Tonight there will be a fundraiser held at Rosie O' Grady's in Ferndale at seven tonight.
Money raised will help Richard during the weeks he'll have to miss at work while he recovers.
