clinical trials
« on: December 21, 2018, 06:31:20 AM »
The National Kidney Foundation has sent out a notice that a drug company has been working to develop a pre-kidney-transplant therapy that would reduce the danger of rejection, and reduce the amount of anti-rejection drugs needed (if any). They are now ready to start clinical trials on real patients. Volunteers must be over 18, never had a transplant before, and preparing to receive a kidney from a blood relative (not a relative-by-marriage, friend, etc.) Recipient and donor must be willing to participate. Further information available at www.mercury-kidneytransplantstudy.com I myself don't have any further information on this, so just go to that site if you are interested in investigating.
