Getting messages about an abandoned LDO account? Here's why.
« on: March 15, 2014, 05:32:35 PM »
Among the tools the new software provides us is a simple report on our members' last login activity. Using this tool, we've noted that some folks haven't logged for three years. Just as we're culling stale posts in the Looking for a Donor forum, those more than a year old, we're also culling accounts that haven't been used in more than 1,000 days. If you don't want yours to be thought of as abandoned, if you're logged in while you're reading this, the account you're using now won't be culled. Perhaps another one you set up when you first joined, but forgot, so you made another, perhaps that one will be culled. If you're reading this without logging in, you'll still be able to read the parts of the discussion forums that are readable by all without logging in. You're missing out on a lot, but you're already missing out on it, and to read or post, all you need to do is create an account. No worries for you either way.
