10th Kidneyversary
« on: December 09, 2013, 02:17:01 PM »
I have not been on the "boards" in a while, been keeping up on Facebook - but these boards are like my roots!!  Today 10 years ago I donated to my brother, who has IgA.  Glad to report that we are both doing well, I got so much support from everyone on these boards, they were a real life line to people who understand living donation.

Keep up the good work, I will try to be better about checking in - so much to be learned from other donors!!
Good health to all!!

Congratulations Barb! You were a big help to me when I began my own journey over 6 years ago. Glad to hear you both are well!

Barbara,

I have to echo Orchid Lady's sentiments. Always encouraging to see the long time donors post. Can't believe you hit double digits!

Happy and healthy new year season to you and yours.

CONGRATULATIONS!
And hoping you and your brother will have several more "10 year" kidneyversaries -- at 20, 30, etc. years.   :D
