A month, a year, years, decades pass, and what we have done and experienced becomes part of us, for better, for worse, and is more or less present in our daily thoughts and feelings. We mark the passage of time here, remembering extraordinary acts of love and hope, and hoping that they still bring joy in memory at this remove.
