Experience with NKR?
« on: June 03, 2012, 12:28:41 AM »
I just went into NKR as an anonymous donor through UCSF.  Anyone have any experience with them as to a time line?  I am type o so they said it will go 'quicker?'  What does quicker mean in your experience?   I suppose I should just be patient but would appreciate any words on the basis of your experience.

I would estimate weeks to months. They will try to give you significant time to plan before you are scheduled for surgery.

I am O as well and it took a few weeks to find a "winner" for my kidney.
