If so, don’t miss our monthly free class designed to help you make an informed decision about becoming a kidney donor. A transplant surgeon and other members of our team will provide answers to the most frequently asked questions about kidney donation, including:
A summary of the donor evaluation process, including medical and psychological testing
Information about the surgery, including risks and recovery information
An overview of the health insurance process and how your donation-related medical expenses are paid
What you need to know about living with only one kidney
The benefits of living kidney donation for the transplant recipient
