1st Kidneversary and sleep question
« on: May 10, 2012, 09:20:16 AM »
I'm so grateful that Daddy has had a good year!

The only change I've noticed is that I need more sleep. Changed  from 7-8 hours to 8 1/2-10 hours.  At first I thought it was from the anesthesia.

I've tried 8 hours and can't manage more than a couple of days.

I'm quite sure it isn't a sign of depression.  Also not from being inactive, since I exercise nearly an hour a day.  My last round of blood work was normal, and I feel fine.  I just have the same bedtime as when I was 6 years old.

Has anyone else needed more sleep long after recovery?

That's a good idea, I don't think it was part of the standard blood work.  Too bad I didn't think of this when I was at the doctors yesterday.
