A momentous day in the USA! For the first time since the Herricks in 1954, insurance companies can no longer refuse to insure, or drop from existing coverage, a living donor for having a "preexisting condition." Best wishes to all of us who have suffered this ignominy, financial ruin, and even lack of adequate, timely treatment, leading to disability or death. We believe it wasn't common, we know it happened. Unconscionable, and no more. Hurrah!
