Here's the schedule of upcoming fall 2012 regional business meetings, where transplant professionals can participate in discussions and learn about regional business, committee activity, and policy and bylaw proposals that are out for public comment. All UNOS members are welcome. There is no registration fee and no need to pre-register.

I attended the Region 1 meeting last week and was very encouraged by the presentation and discussion about the latest draft proposal from the OPTN Kidney Transplantation Committee for revision to the deceased donor allocation system.  We were all repeated encouraged to provide our individual, as well as institutional, public comment feedback before December 14th.  I encourage all to attend their regional meetings, and be responsive to the calls for public comment.
