Can you donate bone marrow directed towards a certain person in need if already on registry?

You can certainly be tested to see if you're a match to that person.

Matching of bone marrow is very precise, so the odds of a match to a given person are much lower than for kidney or other forms of living donation. But, even if you're not a match to that person, you might match someone else in the registry.
