Daughter gives dad new chance at life
Bobbie McIntosh donated a kidney to her father

Paul McIntosh, the 102nd recipient of a transplanted kidney at Lutheran Hospital, can thank his youngest daughter, Bobbie McIntosh, for his chance at renewed health.

"It was kind of a surprise," said Bobbie, 34. "Everyone thought my brother would be the donor."

Her older brother, Chris McIntosh, volunteered to donate, but it turned out he was not a good match. Testing proved Bobbie was the best choice as donor.

"It was up to me," she said....
