MEDICAL ALERT BRACELETS, ETC. (Some medical professionals recommend that kidney donors wear something to tell first responders that there is only one kidney. If contrast dyes must be used for scans the docs can sometimes use safer doses and follow other flushing procedures to reduce the danger of harm to the remaining kidney.
