10 days post surgery and both Mom and I are  doing just fine!!!!  :)

Thank you so much for posting. Welcome to the club! Good to be on the other side, right? So glad you and your mom are doing well. Now just take care of yourself. your body has been through a big surgery so take things slow and give yourself time to heal.

I received the greatest supportive words from those here and gained confidence prior to surgery by reading the posts here.

I almost feel silly for even being anxious at all.  The surgeries went great! Mom is recovering well and I am back at work and getting back into my routine activities. I am so grateful that I was able to do this and can't imagine NOW having any doubts of organ donation.
