Government attempts to encourage organ donation got a shot in the arm as Governor K Sankaranarayan has directed the vice-chancellors of various varsities to motivate students to display organ donor stickers on the identity cards. Almost a year ago, the health department had issued a slew of resolutions to encourage organ donation.
