American Kidney Fund grades the states on legal protections for us.
Unrelated directed kidney donor, my recipient and I are well!
659 time blood & platelet donor.
Elected to OPTN Boards of Directors & Executive, Kidney Transplantation, and Ad Hoc Public Solicitation of Organ Donors Committees, 2004-11 & OPTN BoD, Finance, Living Donor, & Patient Affairs Coms 2025-29

National Kidney Foundation has also been actively lobbying for national legislation (Living Donor Protection Act of 2021). https://voices.kidney.org/ldpa/

Only 10 months left in this Congress to get it passed. Otherwise, we have to start all over again (as has happened many times before). https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/1255
