Everyone seems to get such different advice. The only thing I was told was "drink a lot of water".

In general, everyone should avoid lots of sodium. I wasn't told that I have to behave as if I have hypertension and severely limit sodium. Nor was I told to limit protein (though I am vegetarian, so maybe they figured I wasn't overdoing the protein to begin with!)

My recipient has also not been told to avoid anything. In fact, he's been told to eat more nuts and drink more milk because his phosphorus was low.
