Sounds like a question for the nephrologist evaluating you. Best wishes.

in cases with kidney donors with 2 arteries and 1 vein during renal transplant what happens to the second artery?does it have an adverse affect on the recipient after transplant and in what way?

I am a living donor, with 2 arteries and 1 vein, and I have worked with over 20 other donors, many who have had 2 arteries... This is a COMMON... situation... The arteries are sewn together.. there is no down side for the recipient... This of course is assuming that you are at a experienced transplant center....of which there are many...
You can check UNOS data for your site and DO speak with your doctor...
I say... no worries.. a good match with 2 arteries is NO PROBLEM
