As many of you know by now, the proposed 2012 "U.S. Transplant Games" were cancelled as the National Kidney Foundation could no longer financially support them. Now there is GOOD NEWS! Other groups are trying to pick up the ball to organize local, regional and national athletic events for recipients and donors. Grand Rapids, Michigan has gotten itself organized to try to host "Transplant Games of America" there in 2012.
