I just wanted to pass along something I recently learned at the living donor message board of the National Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org . There is a private group at www.healwithlovefoundation.org that tries to help provide living donors with reembursement for lost wages during recovery, if they need it and have no other source of help. They also receive donations to be used for that purpose. Founded by a living donor. That's all I know about it, so I can't vouch for it further, but it seemed like useful information to pass along.
