The cardiologist has approved my dad for surgery!  The last we heard we thought we had to wait until June.  It looks like we might be doing this thing in April, fingers crossed.

Wow, that is great!  Glad he is well enough for the surgery.  So are you still planning on being the donor?  I remember you had some concerns about the possibility of diabetes with your health history.  With diabetes the risk of kidney disease is much higher, but then, you had this conversation with the doctors.  Best wishes on the upcoming surgery.
