My "kidney" brother just called to let us know they just gave birth to their first baby girl this morning, a July 4th baby. After two boys ages 9 and 5 my brother and sister in law were hoping for girl. I'm convinced it was the female kidney that influenced the gender! Everyone is doing well. Another miracle of kidney donation. One never knows, but I like to think that having a kidney transplant has helped my brother take better care of himself and lead a healthier and happier life. Wishing all of them a long and healthy life together.
