One year ago today, June 7, I donated my kidney to a friend.  I had some setbacks the day after the surgery and had to spend some extra time in the hospital.  One year later, I have no probelms and my friend is doing well.  It was a successful transplant.

Unrelated directed kidney donor in 2003, my recipient and I are well!
650 time blood and platelet donor since 1976 and still giving!

June 22nd for me. Donated my left kidney one year ago to my husband.  We are both doing well.

Lots of good luck to you. I donated my kidney on May 25, 2011 to my sister .  Much anticipation before the event. When I woke from the surgery I felt awsome! When I saw my sister coming into recovery approx. hour after me, and saw her smile, with thumbs up, I can tell u other than my sons being born it was the best day of my live. God Bless u and Keep u safe.
