Successful fundraising allows for latest KPD programming

The OPTN/UNOS KPD Program is highlighted in the Winter 2014 issue of ASTS's quarterly publication, Chimera.
An article written by UNOS employee, Cassandra Cossitt, paints a comprehensive picture of the program's evolution. Follow the path from initial discussions by members of the OPTN Kidney Transplantation committee in 2004 to the pilot program implementation to the fully automated and operational program in place today.
