Hello all,
Who all do you usually gift to say thank you after transplant surgery.
Already gave chocolates to the post surgery nursing staff.

(1) How about the Surgeon and team?
(2) How about Living donor coordination staff?

Thanks....

Any info is appreciated....
i want to do like what folks do normally, did not want to over do or under do with the thank you gift.

Large fruit baskets are nice and usually pass dietary restrictions.
Or, if you know them quite well, fine whiskey.

After I became a living kidney donor, I recently began working as a transplant nurse coordinator for stem cell transplants. I always appreciate a nice note from recipients and donors.  If there was a particularly helpful health care professional you can also find out who their supervisor is and include a copy of the letter to their superior. We very often write letters which point out the negative experiences, it is also nice to express when you have had a positive experience.

One of my patients gave me a really cute hat since I always have my head covered. Finding something personal is also a nice way to say thank you.

Thank you both for the suggestions!
