Info/website for your recipient

We have had a lot of new donors on the board recently. Bravo!

Thought I would share with you a website that you may want to pass along to your recipient: www.transplantexperience.com

It is supported by the maker of Prograf (anti-rejection medication). By signing up, you get a welcome kit that includes a HUGE seven day medication dispenser, journal, newsletter, etc. We also receive a regular newsletter with recipes, stories and other information. As well, we have received various "freebies" from them at different times including a long sleeve shirt (sun protection), med timer, thermometer, and hand gel.

What has been a great help is that they also provide information how to get the Prograf Value Card. Subject to eligiblity, it will pay up to $200 a month towards your co-pay on the Prograf prescription.

Thanks for posting this, Orchidlady. I had never heard of this, but yes, my DH is on Prograf, so I will sign him up. Hooray for freebies!  ;D

Well, after I signed us up, I found out that DH has been switched to generic form of Prograf. No matter; we have good insurance and prescription coverage, but it will still be cool to get the welcome gift of a pills sorter. Can always use one of those. :)
