Hi all. For folks in the New York City area:
The "Transplant Recipients International Organization" (www.TRIOWEB.org) will have its annual "Remember and Rejoice" inter-religious celebration for recipients, donor families, living donors and transplant professionals on Saturday April 9, 2011 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at St. Patrick's Cathedral, 5th Avenue & 50th St., Manhattan, New York City.  The ceremony usually consists of songs, readings, short talks by recipients, donor families and living donors, a candle-lighting ceremony and a presentation of a token gift to each donor family and living donor. No registration of tickets are required. There is usually a large crowd, so it can be wise to come a bit early.
