The OPTN just completed a major initiative to rewrite the OPTN policies in plain language and to organize them logically.

Public comment period for OPTN policies is NOW OPEN: August 9 - September 9, 2013. This is a second and final opportunity to gather input before the OPTN/UNOS Board of Directors votes on them.

One major organizational change: all policy sections will be contained in one document with a table of contents and index for easy navigation to individual sections. A crosswalk provides additional guidance. Read about more features and benefits.
