Having to repeat CT scan because I was taking Nsaids

My nurse coordinator called and said I needed to redo the CT scan, I   was taking Nsaids a couple of days before and the morning of my scan. She said the Doctor saw Early Renal Pappillary Necrosis possibly caused by taking Nsaids, she wants me to not take any for 4-6 weeks and retest, anyone have any dealings with this?
