I donated three times for the same recipient, the first time with complications but the other two times were very easy. I also met my recipient and her family, and I remain in contact with her family even though my recipient passed away 17 months after the first transplant. I wish I had had someone else who had been through it to answer my questions... I had so many! I am ofter told that I am easy to talk to and good at giving support and information. |
