Living Donor Buddies

LDO’s Living Donor Buddies program matched potential living donors with people who had already gone through the living donation experience. The program was based on findings from psychosocial research that showed an improved living donor experience when potential donors were able to learn from and share experiences with an experienced donor.

LDO no longer provides the service, but we can point you to the following online resources that provide living donor mentors:
