They can ask freely and know someone who went on to donate not once, but twice! It can be comforting to speak with someone not related to the team who can understand what they are going to experience.

I WOULD BE ABLE TO SUPPORT SOMEONE THRU THE DONOR TESTING PROCESS AND GIVE TIPS AND INSIGHT ALONG THE WAY. I LOVE ORGAN DONATION AND HAVE DONE SOME ADVOCACY WORK- HECK I DRESSED UP AS A DRIVERS LICENSE ON HALLOWEEN TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO CHECK YES ON THEIR DRIVERS LICENSE. I THINK HUMOR AND LAUGHS CAN GET YOU THRU ALOT OF THINGS. I ALSO KNOW THAT DONATING AN ORGAN CAN BE A MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY, AND EMOTIONALLY WILD RIDE SO HAVING SOMEONE TO TALK TO IS A GREAT GIFT.
